Suffering with external haemorrhoids (Piles).?

Other herbs such as goldenseal, powdered myrrh, slippery elm bark or alumroot can be mixed with equal amounts of water to make a paste which can be applied to the affected area for at least one hour.
Drinking plenty of fluids will help but herbal drinks may also provide some relief. Mixing black mustard with yoghurt and a glass of buttermilk or buttermilk with added peppercorns, rock salt or ginger. You can also try a pomegranite drink made by peeling and boiling the fruit and peel. When cool drink a glass in the morning and another at night.
Other natural remedies include eating plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Avoiding a diet high in red meat, spicy food, beer, salt, coffee and soft drinks may also help alleviate the condition.
